FROM Tufty the Squirrel to Charley the Cat, Britain's most memorable public information films are to be given another airing.
For the past 60 years, the government broadcasts have advised us on how to do everything from surviving a nuclear war to blowing your nose.
Now the National Archives are to put the 60 best examples online for the first time.

But the most fascinating films date from post-war Britain.
The National Archives in Kew began its online releases yesterday with a selection of films from 1945-51.
The earliest, from 1945, instructs the public on how to blow their noses.
The Ministry of Health film entitled Coughs and Sneezes features a middle-aged man being taught to use a handkerchief.
